Celebrating Generations In Faith Togther!
No question that Wednesday night is the busiest time at Redeemer Lutheran Church and Children's Journey Preschool. It is an exciting time for people to gather in community, for friends to greet each other, and kids to run around in a safe environment.
We know making time for family and friends is important, yet time and time again our busy schedules impede people actually having time to sit down together for mealtime or anytime for that matter. Wednesday G.I.F.T. Night can help in meaningful ways!
Gathering Generations Together.
Breaking Bread Together.
Blending Worship and Education.
Connecting Church and Home.
We offer the following schedule for you to be able to drop in when you can. Our worship time is a big deal to us. It is our most important time when we gather together parents, children, singles, retirees, and youth in a sacred space each week. We involve all ages and stages in our worship. Worship, education, fellowship, food, fun, and faith talk are blended together in an intentional combination each week. We use music, movement, theater, and other creative visual arts combined with pastoral care. Holy Communion, prayer and blessing each Wednesday worship. We want our Cross Generational Families to be the core community for all gatherings at church while age-specific classes, events, retreats and programs are considered occasional, enriching supplements to that norm. If this seems like something you would like to be a part of then we invite you to bring yourself, family and friends. If you have no one to bring there are plenty of others who would love to get to know you and all you need to so is show up.
"Tell your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation."
- Joel 1:3
